To begin with, Novotel Shanghai Atlantis is not an expensive hotel. For the price in Shanghai (Pudong, no less) it is difficult to complain, but there are areas that can see improvements. Anyway: 1) The hotel has a 24h restaurant on the 2nd floor, with both buffet and a la carte options.
