Oh Ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile.  If all Ibis hotels are as nice as this I will be staying at their properties all the time!  However, this ibis is unlike any other ibis I’ve stayed at before, probably due to their relatively new decor. Maybe the place was renovated recently? The room we had was spacious and modern with a comfortable bed. Even the windows open and close smoothly. The photos with this review will speak more than I can in words.

The location of the hotel was great and places like the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Waverlay station are well within walking distance.

Ibis Edinburgh Centre - bathroom

Bathroom provisions were sufficient.

We did not have much interaction with the staff of the hotel – except for check-in and out, which were both very efficient.

One slight problem with our street facing room was the noise at night (trash collection, drunkards, drunkards and more drunkards) with the windows opened, but once the windows are closed much noise is blocked.

In all, a very nice hotel which I will not hesitate to return to should I come to Edinburgh again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that don’t face the street to escape from the noise.
